Mariah Carey thanks Oakland on Twitter

Mariah Carey, the sultry-voiced singer and actress who performed so well in Precious, in town for a concert at the Oracle Arena Friday night, took time to thank Oakland on Twitter. This is Mariah Carey's tweet:

The Oakland Tribune called the concert "flawless" and "diva-licious". That's a new one: Diva-licious.

Jennifer Lopez Does An Impersonation Of Rihanna

CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Mar. 1, 2010: Who would have thought it? JLo impersonating RiRi?

Well it has happened. On Saturday Night Live on Feb. 27, Puerto Rican actress and singer, Jennifer Lopez impersonated Bajan-born Grammy-winning star Rihanna.

Wearing a short blonde cropped wig styled like Rihanna and a military-style jacket,
Lopez sang in the same style as the Bajan star in a spoof of the `We Are The World` single.

The Latina singer, 40, sang: `There comes a time - er - when we heed a certain call - eh - when the world must come together as one.`

She then dropped in a few lines of one of Rihanna`s big hits Umbrella with a few `ella... ella... ellas`.

Lopez announced last week she had left Sony Records as 10 years on the label`s roster.

Lopez`s latest few albums haven`t sold as well as her first two LPs and remix album.
